Aloysius graduated from the University of Kent and Canterbury with a BA in Law & Economics and is a qualified barrister at law and admitted as an advocate and solicitor in Singapore in 1995. His areas of practice are Intellectual Property Law, Corporate Law, Cross Border Commercial Transactions, and Real Estate Transactions. He was named in 2009 as one of the “Asia’s Hot 100 lawyers” by Asian Legal Business.

Advising clients on entry strategies into China and investments in China is his current expertise given his network in China. He is actively involved in cross border corporate, real estate transactions and investments transactions, across China, India and the ASEAN regions.

He sits on the Board of Governors for TayLeck Teck Foundation a charitable foundation and is an independent director of Changjiang Fertilizer Holding Limited, a company listed on the Stock Exchange of Singapore and CCM Group Limited, a construction company listed on the Catalist in Singapore.

Previously he was a Managing Director, Wealth Management with UBS AG in Singapore.

Mr. Lexmond is a Canadian national and a qualified lawyer in a number of jurisdictions: Ontario (Canada), Hong Kong and New Zealand. He has lived in Singapore for 17 years. Before joining the wealth management industry, Mr. Lexmond was a tax partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Singapore. He joined UBS in 2004.

Mr. Lexmond was the Chairman of the Singapore Chapter of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) from 2001-2009 and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Singapore Branch of the International Fiscal Association. He has participated in the recent and ongoing Singapore government initiatives in relation to the development of the trust industry.

Mr. Lexmond obtained his law degree from Queen’s University, Kingston, Canada. He also holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Canada.

As the founding and senior partner, Apisith John Sutham is responsible for managing the firm’s practices, business, and client relationships, in addition to his legal practice which focuses on corporate and commercial laws, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property law, and international trade litigation and regulation.

Apisith John Sutham was elected by his peers to The International Who’s Who of Leading Trade and Customs Lawyers and Chamber’s Global –The World Leading Lawyers for Business since 2003.

He holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and an M.B.A. from Solvay Business School of the Free University of Brussels. He has been a member of the New York Bar since 1991.

Prior to co-founding and becoming Deputy Managing Director of HML, Leap gained over 10 years of practical experience in tax, audit, finance and accounting with various companies including KPMG and DHL Express. At HML, Leap deals with business development and planning, commercial transaction, property and land development, licensing and concession, merger and acquisition, due diligence, intellectual property, dispute settlement and taxation.

Leap obtained a BB.A and an LL.M from various universities, the qualification of Certified Accounting Technician from ACCA located in UK and has been accredited as a Legal Trademark Agent from the Ministry of Commerce. She is proficient in Khmer, English and Chinese.

Michael specializes in commercial litigation and has represented clients in a variety of high-stake commercial litigation matters. Mr. Mejia’s formal litigation practice has included representation of clients at all levels of the Philippine court system, at international arbitral tribunals, and at administrative agency proceedings.

His industry experience includes insurance, finance, business process outsourcing, telecommunications, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, forestry and hotel and restaurant.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Laws from the University of the Philippines. While in the College of Law, he worked for Dean Froilan M. Bacungan and the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines; interned with the Office of Legal Aid of the University of Philippines and the Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center; and was part of the Philippine Team which placed first in the ASEAN Varsities Debating Championships in 2000.

Matthew Yeoh has practised law for more than 20 years in the UK, Malaysia and Singapore. He was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1986. His practice includes civil litigation, corporate advisory, corporate and retail banking, commercial law, conveyancing, and immigration practice. He is legal advisor to corporate clients in China, India, Pakistan, Thailand and Indonesia which has business interests in this region.He is the legal advisor of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China and is well-connected with the Malaysian diplomatic and business community in China. He is a Certified International Property Specialist, a member of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI) and a registered trademarks agent and licensed migration agent.

He completed his law degree course at the University of Wales Institute of Science and Technology in Cardiff, Wales and was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1986.

Terrence has more than 30 years of experience in financial advisory services, trustee and custodial work, investment and pension fund management services, hospitality services, charity program development and education.He was the CEO of UK-based charity Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) South East Asia, providing regional philanthropic advisory services to individuals and corporates. He also was the Community Foundation of Singapore’s (CFS) Deputy CEO in 2010 which provided Singapore-centric donor-advised funds, philanthropy and grant-making services to individuals, corporates as well as non-profits.

Previous senior appointments held by Terrence included being Director of APS Komaba Asset Management; Director of Russell Investment Group; Managing Director of Superfund Financial (Singapore) Pte Ltd; CEO of British And Malayan Trustees Limited (listed on SGX main board); General Manager and Alternate Director of AIG International Funds.

He is a guest lecturer at the Singapore Management University (SMU), Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and is a full member of the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID).

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Magna Cum Laude).

David has more than 33 years’ experience as a CFP® practitioner providing integrated financial advice to individuals. He earned a B.S.B.A. in Finance with a concentration in personal financial planning from Drake University. He earned his CFP® certification in 1982 and in 2008 served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the U.S.A. Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. In 1987 he received the Chartered Financial Analyst® certification to better assist clients with their investment portfolios.He is a past member of the national board of the International Association for Financial Planning (IAFP) and served as president of the IAFP’s Iowa Chapter. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the National Endowment for Financial Education (NEFE). He is currently using NEFE’s High School financial education materials to teach personal finance to at risk teens at the Wildwood Hills Ranch.

He has been recognized with quotes in financial publications and has appeared on TV and radio, and has received awards for community service as well as being named one of the nation’s top financial planners by Worth and Money magazines.

James was past President of the Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) and the current President and Chairman of the Estate Planning Council (EPC).Concurrently, James is the President of the Estate Planning Standard Board (EPSB), which is a regional estate planning certification authority for the Certified Estate Planner (CEP) mark. EPSB is a not-for-profit social enterprise.

He is a certified trust and estate planner (TEP) with the Society of Trust and Estate  Practitioners (STEP-UK) , a Certified Financial Planer (CFP) and a Charter Life Underwriter (CLU).

He has been in the estate planning practice for more than 25 years.

Deborah graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria to practice as a solicitor.Her practice covers all aspects of Family Law (including Parenting and Property/Financial disputes, Binding Financial Agreements, Intervention Orders, International Child Abduction and Relocation) and Commercial Litigation.

During her studies at Monash University, Deborah was awarded the Lawrie McCredie Prize for Succession Law, in recognition of her academic achievements in Succession Law.
